1. DO I NEED TO PUT THE NEW REAL ESTATE INTO THE TRUST ?
Answer:
Yes. In order to avoid
probate on the new real estate, you need to put it into the Trust.
2. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PUT THE NEW REAL ESTATE INTO THE
TRUST ?
Answer:
You need to sign a deed (or deeds) which transfers the new real estate into the
Trust.
If
escrow is not yet closed, take your Estate Planning Booklet (Signed Originals)
to the escrow company and make sure they transfer title to you in the name of
the Trust.
3. WHAT IF ESCROW HAS ALREADY CLOSED ?
Answer:
You can have my office prepare a new deed to transfer the new house into
the Trust.
4. WHAT IS THE CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE ?
Answer:
$150.00, which covers all filing fees and all notary services when you
come to my office.
