1.  DO I NEED TO PUT ALL OF MY ASSETS INTO THE TRUST ?

  Answer:   No.  You need not put your IRA or 401k or your cars into the Trust.

 

2.  WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PUT INTO THE TRUST ?

 

Answer:  Just about everything else. My office has put your home and all of your real estate into the Trust.  Now you need to put the following types of assets into your Trust:

 

Life Insurance & Annuities

Bank Accounts

Other Investments,

Including Mutual Funds, Stocks & Bonds

 

3.  WHAT ABOUT ALL THE SMALL ITEMS LOCATED IN MY HOUSE ?

(TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY)

 

Answer:  Your "small items" (tangible personal property)  has already been put into the Trust by the Assignment of Property form which you signed along with all the other estate planning documents.  

 

4.  CAN I MAKE COPIES OF THE SAMPLE LETTERS CONTAINED IN MY ESTATE PLANNING BOOKLET ?

 

Answer:   Yes.  The sample letters are intended to be copied if you have more than one account of a particular type. 

 

5.   HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH FUNDING MY TRUST ?

 

Answer:  Just contact your financial advisor and use the sample letters to contact the various institutions.
